British American Tobacco Caribbean and Central American (BATCCA) and prestigious INCAE business school signed an agreement to provide continuous support to the BATCCA Chair of Social Enterprise and Corporate Social Responsibility imparted by this centre for higher learning.

This agreement signed in 2005 will allow both institutions to go more deeply into the study of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as a variable and as a value, in the creation of new and current decision makers in the Central American and Caribbean countries.

Thanks to the BATCCA CSR Chair, investigation has been conducted in recent years to create and reinforce a Corporate Social Responsibility Framework applicable to all companies in the region, including the Caribbean. These investigations have been the subject of different publications, as well as public discussion forums.
