In line with British American Tobacco’s Business Principles, we present this section containing information directed at the consumer and by means of which we clearly and objectively respond to stakeholders’ reasonable expectations regarding information about our products.

Likewise, we believe that public health authorities, together with the tobacco industry and other sectors of society, must play a key role in determining and supplying this information in order to facilitate and increase adult consumers’ capacity to take informed decisions regarding a product that poses health risks.

However, we also firmly believe that socially responsible tobacco companies must assist and cooperate with public health authorities in order to facilitate adult consumer access to relevant information.

We are committed to presenting relevant and meaningful information on tobacco products in a clear, honest and responsible manner, using ‘simple’ language. We defend adult consumers’ right to make decisions based on their access to this information.

This mass medium allows us to provide relevant information about our products and the health risks associated with their use. Our website enables us to establish a direct relationship with consumers, providing information about our products to those who send us their enquiries.

We believe that cigarettes must be produced and marketed in a responsible manner and that our consumers must have access to relevant information about the products their choose to consume and therefore, relevant and meaningful information about our products must be readily available.
